Fly Over Bicycle

The Netherlands, Zoetermeer – July 2015

A fly over for bicycles (we do have lots of bicycle lanes in The Netherlands) in Zoetermeer, architecture as art. The theme for this week’s Lens Artists Photo Challenge #173 is interesting architecture.

Great photo Chris. Artistic architecture. The best way to get people out of their cars is to give them bike paths! I was impressed and intimidated, as I have been in the Netherlands, by the bike paths in the cities of Madrid and Barcelona. People FLY BY on all sorts of two-wheeled transport. 😱😂

Bicycles are indeed a great way of transport. Luckily we have more than enough free bike lanes here. It used to be the only way of transport till the end of the sixties for public. Now we have loads of electric bikes, so i am passed by old people on my own bike 🙂
