Reflections of Paris

Walking Paris in february 2000 this hair dresser’s caught my eye. The scene inside with the woman in the foils through the window and the reflection of the street in it. It is a rather layered photo this way. But I do like it.

About the B4 retouch series:
I browsed my archive for pictures to publish in – an originally – small series. That series caught on a bit more than I thought. All of them are not retouched yet. Scratches, dust and stains are not removed.

WPC: Beneath Your Feet (Bicycles)

The theme of the WPC this week is Beneath your Feet. Well the world is beneath our feet but that is quite relative sometimes. In The Netherlands we use the bicycle as a primary means of transportation for short distances. When you are too young to ride one yourself you just get on the back or front of your mother’s or father’s bicycle. Soon you learn to ride a bicycle. It is not easy at first but when you are used to have a bicycle under your feet, you never forget how to use it.
