People who follow my photoblog (thank you!) know my love for monochrome. And sometimes it is a matter of taste what to choose: the original colour shot, or the monochrome version? That is if the original shot is not done in monochrome, I do that quite a lot on iPhone and Nikon Zf.

The question to you is: which one do you prefer, and why? Any comments are as always welcome.

    On this shot I go for the monochrome. In my view here it shows the textures and better and creates I call a feel. Normally I am more of a colour image fan ..it depends on the scene. Just my thoughts 😄

    It’s a close call, but I think the color version has your better treatment in the shadows (a little more open). They both convey a sense of place, but the monochrome speaks to me more.
