Donna Donna

Swallows in the sky, reminding of an old song made very popular by Joan Baez but in its origin it is a yiddish folk song.

Thank you, Chris Breebaart, love this blue sky with white clouds.
The birds adding to the beauty and simplicity.

The first thought of my simpler 60’s musical R&R was:
“They call her, whoa (Donna, Donna the Prima Donna)
Broke my heart now (Donna, Donna the Prima Donna)” –by Dion DiMucci of Dion and the Belmonts fame. Your choice, IMHO, is much more sophisticated, though Joan Baez was a very early folk music favorite of mine.

Different song, as was Donna by Ritchie Valens, 1958. 4 different songs, and counting? 😱
