    To me, it’s a picture of lonliness! A lovely picture but to this viewer, the image suggests sadness. I presume you were also on the sea when you took this so obviously, the boat was not quite alone!

      To go on a journey can be lonely, leaving behind things, not knowing where you are exactly land etc. But it is also a sign of confidence: knowing one is able to deal with all that lies ahead. I was standing on the shore watching
