Heather lines

The theme for Lens-artists Weekly Photo Challenge #120 is ‘what a treat’.
Coming back to an area I visited a long time ago in my youth, brings back memories about the past. The beauty of nature is sometimes overwhelming, even when it rains.

Hi Chris – I did click on the larger version and glad I did because it reminded me how fun it is to zoom around a clear photo – and the tree to the upper right really stood out more
– and what a treat to revisits this area 😉

Beautiful image Chris – I remember seeing heather for the first time when we visited Scotland. It looks so soft and inviting but as I recall is was a bit prickly!

It is quite hard with wooden stems. But the flowers give great honey! And it is amazing to see. Thank you!
