Berlin has a wonderful (and cheap) public transportation infrastructure. One of the building blocks is the U-Bahn. Station Hausvogteiplatz.

Thank you so much John! That’s a bit how parts of Berlin are. There is a beautiful Wim Wenders film about Berlin before the Wall came down: Der Himmel über Berlin (In English Wings of Desire) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wings_of_Desire?wprov=sfti1#
City of Angels took that story as foundation. Seeing Berlin in 1987 is a trip down memory lane into the Cold War.
