How was the movie?

Long, but entertaining and big in every thing. I decided I have to read the books (they were really ahead of time in 1963) to get the nuances of the story.

Great review! I’m definitely looking to watch this one soon. I was such a big fan of the first “Dune” which I regard one of the best science fiction movies ever made. I loved the depiction of the Middle East in that film. I’m curious to see how a sequel would turn out. Here is why I loved the first “Dune”:
