Tradition

The Netherlands, Delft – June 2018

The weekly theme for lens artists weekly photo challenge (in short LAPC) #127 is ‘precious moments’.

During a visit to the world famous Royal Delft (where they make pottery with the famous blue color), this endearing two piece was on display in the shop. Portraying a precious moment between a female figurine and male figurine. For some the traditional clothes are precious too, but I am happy not to wear clogs any more :-).

A very beautiful figurine set. The gentle smiles on their face said . Thier smiles say much of the joyful precious moment. Wonderful choice,Chris.

I like blue pottery a lot and feel
It can have so many variations – lovely precious monetary photo and we have some of the Dutch clogs as a Christmas ornament – they are cute

🙂 on a cold day standing on ice they are very warm…………… If you ever visit The Netherlands, you will find very big clogs to sit in for photo opportunities in tourist places.
