I love to hear some of the history of bridges, especially older ones. This one looks relatively modern.

It is modern. It is part of the Autobahn in Germany. Simple concrete design.

I wold like to drive the autobahn someday – in the meantime – I will enjoy photos like this –
and the depth perception is cool with the vertical poles from the bridge
