Lens Artists Photo Challenge #402 is a return to the first ever LAPC: wonder. In this world there is plenty to wonder about. Sometimes it only takes a step outside of a pattern. Think of the way we are used to look at the world. In a photo you can use the light and darkness to frame a story of a very familiar subject.

Lens Artists Photo Challenge #402 is a return to the first ever LAPC: wonder. In this world there is plenty to wonder about. Sometimes it only takes a step outside of a pattern. Think of the way we are used to look at the world. Just because we stand straight up most of the time (and the advantage is that you can take the photo the ‘right’ way up and just turn it while you edit it).

LAPC 309 is about balconies. I have to admit that I do not pay special attention to balconies, unless they trigger me as I look around and they catch my eye. I do however ‘collect’ French windows. So occasionally they pop up in a frame. This is one of those, in one of my favourite cities, Paris. From the analogue archive of December 1993.
About the B4 retouch series:
I browsed my archive for pictures to publish. Some of them are partly retouched but most do have scratches, dust and stains.

For LAPC #285 is ‘warm colors’. Temperature is not high right now but the warmth of color in the sun is something to enjoy.

This week LAPC #260 is ‘overlooked’. Taking the word literally, one from the film archives. One of the ponds in Les Tuileries in Paris, looking at the small arch and the Louvre.

The weekly lens artists challenge #242 is ‘new experiences’. A month ago we had a partial public space power cut, the streetlights of a part of the neigbourhood were off for an hour and the moon showed its grace beautifully. Power inside the houses was still there. Power cuts are fortunately rare, and this one was quite a nice experience!

A picture that does not fit in a category has to fit in ‘odds and ends’, lens artists photo challenge #189. Though this one could have been in ‘cleaning’, ‘swans in habitat’, ‘grooming for professionals’ etc.
