This Spring the tulips in the front garden were a pleasure to enjoy for weeks. A last impression of these gorgeous and fierce flowers.

The tulips gave us weeks of colorful joy this year, but in May a storm started to end their blooming period. The petals gone, the stems left behind. Derelict.

When the sun is low, the light is sometimes fantastic and reflects on the dry grass shoots of last year.
