WPC: Beneath Your Feet (Playground)

The theme of the WPC this week is Beneath your Feet.  Shakespeare started a monologue with the famous words ‘All the world’s a stage’. In this monologue he compares life to play; he names seven stages of man, among them infant and boy. If a child could compare life to something I hope it says ‘All the world’s a playground, and all men are merely playing’.  At the same time I hope that playing is not just a stage of life but an essential element of human attitude towards life! It is the source of being creative, and creativity is what we need now more than ever.

WPC: Beneath Your Feet (Sleep)

The theme of the WPC this week is Beneath your Feet. Well the world is beneath our feet but that is quite relative sometimes. It is but might be a long way from where you are standing: why is it that we expect a floor behind each door we open? For me beneath my feet is whatever I stand on. A floor, the crust of the earth or a staircase. Anything that keeps me standing and not falling. Looking down is what this challenge is about. Here a first look down. Our grand-daughter in her temporary bed during her last stay. Amazing how she sleeps.

WPC: Inspiration (Olivia aka Livi)

The theme of the WPC Inspiration. Olivia is our grand-daughter and she featured some of my posts on this blog. She is a big inspiration, just watching her being herself is a true pleasure. Trying to get some of that on photo is another story. But I keep trying and enjoying doing that.

WPC: Half and Half (Livi)

The challenge this week is ‘half and half’. Is the glass half full or half empty? To Livi that is not important! Why turns my blue straw green when I drink?

Monochrome Madness 30: Olivia (aka hands off my skittles!)

This is our beautiful grand daughter (yes I know, I am biased) being busy to keep her skittles safe!
I posted this one as my entry to Monochrome Madness 30 this week!

Leanne Cole is an Australian photographer; each week she organizes a ‘monochrome madness’.
