Nostalgia: ‘Mijn Vlakke Land’

This weekly theme is nostalgia.

He had a love hate relationship with his country of birth, and particularly did not like Dutch as a language. Most of his songs are in French. One of them is about Belgium, Le Plat Pays translated in Dutch as Mijn vlakke land.
