Delft has a technical university with a long history in engineering and water management. The plan for Dutch coast defense implemented in the Delta Works originated here. Deltares is a major technological institute for research focusing on water management.
England, Stowmarket – Little Stonham – December 2024
Ending the year in the UK, a roadside view from the car over a foggy Suffolk countryside. Hence the sharpness is not optimal. This is another one I used GrainLab to put in an analogue grain feeling. It softened the darks and gave the photo a more balanced view in the highlights. Snapseed tends to distort big surfaces in the sky, and this is a nice retouch effect to repair that.

A grey morning with fog in Winter. If the pandemic learned me something, it is that you do not have to go far to find beautiful items for photography. I can not wait to get out in the world again, but this is 500 meters away from where I live, on route to the supermarket.
