Tulips
The Lens Artists Photo Challenge this week is #194: bokeh. Spring is the time for bulb flowers: daffodils, tulips, hyacinths. The garden is popping with tulips right now. And in two weeks the flower parade will take place after two years of absence. Looking forward to it, especially the smell of the flowers.

Waiting for Spring
A grey morning with fog in Winter. If the pandemic learned me something, it is that you do not have to go far to find beautiful items for photography. I can not wait to get out in the world again, but this is 500 meters away from where I live, on route to the supermarket. This week’s theme for the Lens Artists Photo Challenge #184 is ‘Travel has taught me’.

Last of the Tulips
The tulips gave us weeks of colorful joy this year, but in May a storm started to end their blooming period. The petals gone, the stems left behind. Derelict.
