Scheveningen Boulevard Work: Fence and Gulls Composition

The Netherlands, Scheveningen – June 2024

The Pier of Scheveningen, blocked out by a fence that is erected to work on the boulevard. A weird composition of lines, colours and objects, filled in with some gulls. And I do like the lamp post.

Kathmandu Street life 2004

Nepal, Kathmandu – April 2004

This weeks challenge #186 is ‘Low Light’. Monochrome gives a soft grey tone from light to dark, aand nice details in the darker areas, which you can not see easily by eye.

About the B4 retouch series:
I browsed my archive for pictures to publish. Some of them are partly retouched but most do have scratches, dust and stains.

Wanderlust: Bike Ride

The weekly theme is ‘wanderlust’.

The word comes from German, meaning a desire to wander. Wandering can start close to the house, and may not immediately involve country borders. And a perfect means of transportation is a bicycle.
