LAPC #403 focuses on photography tools: perspective, depth and scale. Normally it is better to cut the flower off after it has died, to keep the food in the bulb for next year. But an Allium turns into something quite spectacular.

LAPC #403 focuses on photography tools: perspective, depth and scale. Here two photos of the same group of Aliums in a field, slightly different use of depth and framing. The main difference is the use of focus and framing. I am not sure which one is better, so you be the judge of it.

This is the last stage of the yearly cycle of a giant Allium. It comes in three photo versions after showing that amazing flower, that we enjoyed this year.

Allium is one of our favorite bulbflowers in the garden. I present it as a twin set of mono next to color. Each version brings out different qualitaties in the flower I think, but that is of course subjective.

Lens Artists Weekly Challenge #200 is ‘Every little thing’. Lots of small things, but flowers, and how they open up meeting the sun, are all around. Here the first part of an Allium flower courageously opens up.

Over more than a year ago the Weekly Photo Challenge stopped unfortunately. I miss that challenge still, but fortunately I found the Lens-Artists Challenge. Each week a new theme and this week it is #52 Serenity.
