Building tunnels is not common in The Netherlands, the soil is mostly consisting of clay on top of a sandpackage. However, recently a new connection between motorway A4 and A44 was opened: the Corbulo Tunnel (link to a video). This is a shot from the first time I travelled throught it. The weekly LAPC #312 is sense of scale’

Covid is still among us, but slowly we start up to the new normal. That means going back to the office some days a week, hence being in a train again. Here a view out of the window.

Since the pandemic started we worked from home. But now we start up to work at home and a few days at the office. Hybrid working. I enjoyed being on a train again, seeing the landscape, so familiar but so pleasingly fresh and new to my eyes, passing by. And yes, of course you meet a signpost on a photo.

Today meteorological Spring started. We did not have much Winter in 2019 but I am looking forward to warmth and sun, flowers and trees in full leaves.

This weekly theme is ‘morning’. It can be the start of the day, a greeting, or maybe a feeling that is coming from what you see when your morning has just started. Here is a view that makes me happy to be inside a train. This one reminds me a bit of a Vincent van Gogh painting, a nice way to start your day looking at something beautiful.
