If you visit my blog – like I hope you do or from now start to do – you must have recognized my ‘old’ love for monochrome. When I started this hobby, mono was fashionable and a standard for news photography. And it was cheaper. In this series I offer you two versions of a photo. And you can prefer one over the other, or not.
This week’s theme #390 is ‘color in black and white’. The theme focuses on the cognitive fact that our brains still know a color, even if it is in a grey tone. So the sky is blue, the grass green etc. Here you can see what colors do in greys, and if that is appealing or not to your taste pallet.

The last weekly photo challenge is ‘2017 Favourite’. Share the most meaningful photo that I have taken in 2017. Well, that is tough: which one of the odd 365 photo’s to choose? A lot of them are special to me, meaningful, but it might be that I did not publish my most meaningful photo of 2017 on my blog. So I am taking my own direction in this theme: I am not going to choose. My personal theme this week will be about photo’s that are leftovers of 2017. And they all are meaningful to me as well. I hope you do not mind. I will post this first photo to the theme page. And the rest as straight posts the coming days. Wishing all of you a happy, merry Christmas and fabulous 2018.
Because I am not really participating in this theme I just give a view on the other theme publications so far. To see all of them, visit the theme page. The link is in the first line of this post.
