Spring Blog Cleaning
I started this blog in 2008. The purpose for me is not to create an archive, but publish a (daily) photo. Two years ago I cleaned up the history from the start in 2008 till the end of 2013. And yesterday I removed 2014 till June 2016. If you want to browse those ‘historical photos’ you can do that on my Instagram feed and Flickr account.

Chris–does deleting photos and posts give you more memory? I am now wanting to pay WP more just to post a photo, so I am curious. I have read that quite a few bloggers are doing this same thing as you are–delete, delete, delete. Thank you.

Hi, if you get more storage by paying a plan on WordPress, you can keep your photos. My blog for me is publishing single photos. And still is. I had a website for portfolio and archives of travels. That will come back again soon I hope.
So if you take photos off you do get more free space to answer your first question!

Wow! From 2008 to 2016, how many photos you think you deleted in that time period?

I took about 1600 off I think.
