Half-Light (Eleventh Earl of Mar)

The weekly theme is ’half-light’.

‘The sun had been up for a couple of hours,
Covered the ground with a layer of gold.
Spirits were high and the raining had stopped,
The larder was low, but boy that wasn’t all.’   —
Eleventh Earl of Mar, Genesis

Here is a life recording from Southampton 1977

What a terrific pairing–and such great artistry in the way you’ve captured the layer of gold and the sun having risen high in the frame. One of my (many) favorites of your shots.
